Why MKEGreenworks ?
Relationships: We strive to work with clients who are looking for us to provide long term design/build/maintain garden services. Successful gardening is in the detail and when gardens are designed and installed correctly they will evolve over the next 20-50 years and we are here to help you develop and care for the gardens around your home.
Craftsmanship: To be a successful gardener, you need to be able to blend formal horticultural education with extensive hands on experience while embracing today's technology and products which allow us to deliver the best garden on budget and on time for each and every client.
Value: We understand the importance of delivering value and have been a student of Edward Deming's lean management principles for over 25 years. A key part of this is our Open Book accounting system for each and every project. This is accomplished through our detailed project spreadsheets and includes an app on our ipad which tracks every project cost on a daily basis. This enables us to create reports and invoices on a daily, weekly, monthly or custom date range with a few simple touches and finger swipes on our iPad.
MKEGreenworks is a design/build garden construction company whose partners take over 60 years of horticultural knowledge and expertise and blend that with today's technology to create and provide unique gardens for each and every client while providing unmatched customer service.
The launch of our company here in Southeast Wisconsin two years ago is a return to our roots here in the midwest after having built and successfully operated a design/build garden construction company on the east coast for 20 years. The passing of my sister prompted us to sell our business and move back to the midwest and reestablish ourselves and continue our passion for working with our clients.
We chose the Metro Milwaukee area because of the proximity to our family, Lake Michigan for sailing and the Interurban Bike Trail which would allow us to easily put 50-100 miles a week on our road bikes and the great opportunities Southeast Wisconsin would afford our business.
